Licensing Agreement

1. Grant of License

Upon purchase of FrameSnap, Tangent grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime license to use the software for your personal and commercial projects, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

2. Permitted Uses

With your FrameSnap license, you are permitted to:

• Use FrameSnap to extract frames from your own videos or videos you have rights to use
• Create unlimited projects for personal use
• Create unlimited projects for commercial use
• Use extracted frames in print-on-demand products
• Use extracted frames in digital products for sale
• Use extracted frames in marketing materials
• Generate and use color palettes for any purpose

3. License Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Share, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense your FrameSnap access to others
• Use FrameSnap to process copyrighted content without proper authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use FrameSnap for any illegal purposes
• Create derivative works based on the FrameSnap software itself
• Use automated systems or bots to access FrameSnap
• Resell FrameSnap as a standalone product or service

4. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain all rights to the videos you upload and the frames you extract using FrameSnap. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

Software Ownership: FrameSnap and all associated intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of Tangent. This license does not grant you any ownership rights in the software itself.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to use any videos you process
• Complying with all applicable copyright and intellectual property laws
• Obtaining necessary permissions for commercial use of extracted content
• Respecting third-party rights in all content you create

6. Commercial Use

Your FrameSnap license includes full commercial rights. You may use extracted frames and generated color palettes in:

• Books and publications (including Amazon KDP)
• Print-on-demand products (t-shirts, mugs, posters, etc.)
• Digital downloads and templates
• Client work and commissioned projects
• Social media and marketing content
• Educational materials
• Any other lawful commercial purpose

7. Account Terms

Your FrameSnap license is tied to your individual account. You may not:

• Share your login credentials with others
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent licensing terms
• Transfer your license to another person or entity

8. Updates and Support

Your lifetime license includes:

• Access to all current features of FrameSnap
• Bug fixes and performance improvements
• Basic technical support via email

Note: Major feature additions or new product versions may be offered separately.

9. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of FrameSnap and destroy any downloaded materials in your possession.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

FrameSnap is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Tangent be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of FrameSnap, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Governing Law

This License Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this License Agreement at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of FrameSnap after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
